Scope
This policy describes how polemix.co handles information when an adult visitor in Canada loads a page, leaves a comment, or follows a link to another site. It covers the site itself and the standard WordPress installation that runs it. It does not cover any third-party site reached from here, because those operators set their own rules and publish their own policies.
Data the site handles
The site runs on WordPress, and a WordPress installation collects a predictable set of records without any special configuration. Server logs record the IP address and user agent of each request, together with the time and the page requested. Cookies are set for logged-in users and for comment authors who choose to have their details remembered. If comments are open on a page, the comment form stores the name, email address and site URL supplied by the commenter, along with the comment text and the IP address attached to it for spam filtering.

- A record of each request to the site, including IP address, user agent, timestamp and requested URL.
- Cookie
- A small file stored by the browser. Used here for login sessions and comment convenience.
- Comment data
- Name, email address, optional site URL, comment text and the IP address recorded with the submission.
- Retention
- Logs and comment records are kept only as long as they serve the purposes above, after which they are removed or overwritten.
Advertising and analytics
As of the date at the top of this page, the site loads no advertising scripts and no analytics scripts of its own. No data collected here is sold. Should that change, this page will be updated before any such script goes live, and the change will be noted in the revision date.
Outbound links
Pages on this site link to other websites, including the helplines listed below. Once a visitor follows such a link, the destination site’s own privacy policy applies, and polemix.co has no control over what that site records or how it uses it.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA, and for visitors covered by the GDPR, a person may ask to see the personal information held about them, ask for corrections to anything inaccurate, and ask for deletion of records that are no longer needed. Requests go through the contact page. The site will respond within the period the applicable law allows. Because the site holds no account system beyond standard WordPress logins, most requests will concern comment records or server logs.
Age
This site is for adults only. In Canada the legal gambling age is 18 or 19 depending on the province, and visitors below that age should leave.
